bath与bathe
1. bath 用作名词，一般指在室内“洗澡”，是可数名词。如：
I shall have [take] a hot bath and go to bed. 我洗个热水澡就将上床睡觉了。
注：have a bath 主要用于英国英语，take a bath 主要用于美国英语。
bath 用作动词(及物或不及物)表示“洗澡”时，仅用于英国英语中，且不多见(此时在美国英语中通常用 bathe)。如：
He is bathing in the room. 他在屋里洗澡。
She’s bathing the baby. 她在给婴儿洗澡。
2. bathe 用作名词或动词通常都指到室外的河里或湖里等去游泳或浸泡。如：
It’s a sunny day. Let’s go for a bathe. 今天天气睛朗，我们去游泳吧。
On hot day we often bathe [go bathing] in the river. 天热时我们常到河里去游泳。
有时表示“用水洗或泡”。如：
The doctor told him to bathe his eyes twice a day. 医生叫他每天洗两次眼。
