I would like people to get surprised about my work, instead of it being over-hyped. That’s what I’d be more comfortable with. But it’s a big picture. I have to go with the flow.
我宁愿人们对我的作品感到惊喜，而不愿我的作品被大肆吹捧。这是我更习惯的方式。但是，这是大片，我不得不随大流。



《少年派的奇幻漂流》作者在书籍开篇的话：
If we citizens do not support our artists, then we sacrifice our imagination on the altar of crude reality and we end up believing in nothing and having worthless dreams.
如果老百姓不支持艺术家，那么艺术家只能在残酷的现实面前牺牲自己的想象力，于是到最后，我们什么都不相信，也没有什么有价值的梦想了。
