China has become a fertile land for global entrepreneurs and innovation, with new growth drivers breaking new ground for the country's economic development, Premier Li Keqiang said.

　　李克强表示，中国已成为全球创业创新的热土，新动能正在撑起经济发展的新天地。

　　2018年世界经济论坛新领军者年会（the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2018），即2018天津夏季达沃斯论坛（Summer Davos），9月18日至20日在天津梅江会展中心举行，今年论坛的主题是“在第四次工业革命中打造创新型社会（Shaping Innovative Societies in the Fourth Industrial Revolution）”。

　　论坛共设置超过200个会议议题，气候变化（climate change）、国际投资（international investment）、智能制造（intelligent manufacturing）等各行业热点话题都将在论坛期间得到讨论。

　　李克强表示，在新产业革命中壮大世界经济发展新动能（to boost the new drivers of global growth in the new industrial revolution），就要坚定维护经济全球化（firmly uphold economic globalization），增强发展的包容性（make development more inclusive），力促融通创新和发展（pursue integrated innovation and development）。

　　李克强指出，中国在培育壮大经济发展新动能（nurture new growth drivers）方面进行了积极探索。

　　We have made vigorous efforts to streamline administration and cut taxes and fees, unlocking market vitality.

　　我们大力推进简政减税减费，极大激发了市场活力。

　　We have adopted a prudent yet accommodative approach to regulation, contributing to a boom in emerging industries.

　　我们实行包容审慎监管，促进了新兴产业蓬勃发展。

　　We have encouraged mass entrepreneurship and innovation, inspiring immense social creativity.

　　我们鼓励大众创业万众创新，有效释放了社会创造力。

　　目前，中国的经济结构和增长格局已经发生重大转变（China’s economic structure and growth pattern has seen a major shift），新动能对经济增长的贡献率超过三分之一、对城镇新增就业的贡献率超过三分之二，这为经济持续健康发展奠定了坚实基础（lay a solid foundation for sustained and sound economic growth）。
