　　1. Steal one's thunder 抢风头

　　Remember you are the leading role; don't let others steal your thunder!

　　记着你才是主角，别让他人抢了你的风头！

　　释义：

　　thunder：原意为雷声，雷声贯耳也可以指名气

　　steal one's thunder：直译是偷走了某人的雷声，引申为抢走了别人的名气、风头。
 

　　2. Step on one's toes 得罪某人

　　I have no idea when I stepped on my G.F.'s toes, for she hasn't talked to me for 6 days.

　　女朋友已经六天不和我说话了，我不知什么时候得罪了她。

　　疯狂联想：踩了某人特别是你顶头上司的脚趾头，当然就得罪他了！
