　　1. Skeleton in the closet 家丑，不可告人的秘密

　　You can count on me; I don't have any skeletons in my closet.

　　你完全可以信任我，我没有什么不可告人的秘密。

　　释义：

　　skeleton：骷髅

　　closet：衣柜

　　skeleton in the closet：不难想象，一个人把骷髅藏在自己的衣柜里做什么？一定是有不可告人的秘密。
 

　　2. Sleep in ①睡懒觉；②睡过头

　　① I had a long day at work yesterday, so I decided to sleep in this morning.

　　昨天我去忙了，所以决定今早睡个懒觉。

　　② I slept in this morning and missed my flight to NY.

　　今早我睡过了头，错过了去纽约的航班。
