　　1. Pull no punches 别手下留情，毫无保留

　　Pull no punches -- if you have anything to say, just shoot!

　　别讲情面，有什么就说吧！

　　释义：

　　pull：回收，收回

　　punch：拳击，击打

　　pull no punches：直译是不敢回打出去的拳头，引申为毫不保留，毫不留情。

　　2. Pull one's leg 和别人开玩笑

　　Hey, stop pu她lling my leg, will you! You said that girl loves me but I know she's already got a boyfirend.

　　别逗我了，你说那个女孩喜欢我，可我知道她早就有男朋友了。

　　释义：初看起来好像和中文里的“扯后腿”差不多，但是pull one's leg 的整整意思是开玩笑。
