　　1. Pain in the ass/ butt 讨厌，惹人嫌

　　Andrew told his brother stop being a pain in the ass.

　　安德鲁叫他的弟弟别讨厌。

　　释义：直译是屁股里的痛，可能指痔疮，让人很难受，引申为一个人很讨厌，有点类似所说的“惹人嫌”。文明些可说成paiin in the neck。
 

　　2. Pass out ①醉倒，大醉；②昏倒；③分发

　　① He passed out after three beers.

　　喝了三杯啤酒后他就醉倒了。

　　② When she heard about his death she passed out.

　　听到他的死讯后，她当场晕倒。

　　③ The teacher passed out the test papers.

　　老师分发试卷。
