　　2. More than one way to skin a cat 变通，条条道路通罗马

　　If we are short of cash, we can rent a houst instead of buying one - there's more than one way to skin a cat.

　　我们没有钱买房，我们可以租——总有变通的方法。

　　释义：直译是不止一种方法剥猫皮，这是美式英语的说法。英式为more ways of killing a cat.
