　　1. Jump ship 逃避责任，跳槽

　　When the company announced the loss, many of its employees jumped ship.

　　当公司宣布亏损的消息后，员工们纷纷跳槽。

　　释义：此词源于海上航运，是指当船出了问题时，船长或船员不顾乘客，跳船逃命。
 

　　2. Jump the gun 草率行事

　　Don't jump the gun. We have to be patient for a while.

　　不要草率行事，我们应该耐心等一会儿。

　　释义：源于短跑运动，号令未响就抢跑，比喻行动过早，操之过急。
