英语新闻词汇：（493）＂自由体操＂的英语

　　“自由体操”的英语怎么说？

　　小编第一反应就是“free exercise”，因此“自由”嘛。不过查阅一番才知道，更准确的说法是“floor exercise”哦。

　　居然是用“floor”这个词，是不是听着有点奇怪呢？维基百科中这样为我们解释道：

　　In gymnastics, the floor refers to a specially prepared exercise surface, which is considered an apparatus. It is used by both male and female gymnasts. The event in gymnastics performed on floor is called floor exercise. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is FX.

　　由此可见，这里用的是体操中的专门说法。“floor exercise”可以解释为“地板运动；垫上运动”。

　　我们来看这句报道：

　　Nastia competes in the balance beam, uneven bars, floor exercise and vault and has won a total of nine World Championship medals (four gold and five silver).（柳金的参赛项目包括平衡木、高低杠、自由体操和跳马，一共得过四金五银，九块世界锦标赛的奖牌。）

　　从这句话中我们还同时学到了平衡木（balance beam），高低杠（uneven bars），跳马（vault）的英语说法。
