Have a cow ≠ 有一头奶牛

大家都知道Cow是奶牛，但是Have a cow的意思可不是有一头奶牛。这是一个俚语，表示一种非常强烈的情绪，意思就是：很生气、勃然大怒、焦虑不安。据说起源上世纪50年代。Don't have a cow！这句经常在《辛普森一家》中出现。

大家都知道Call off 是取消；叫停的意思， 那Call off the dogs？取消狗？没法理解…其实Call off the dogs的意思是：停止攻击、批评某人（to stop criticizing or attacking another person）

Please, call off the dogs. I apologize for what I have done.

求你了，别再批评我了，我为我所有做过的事道歉。
