　　1. From the top 上头交代的

　　I don't mean to give you a hard time, but this is straight from the top.

　　不是我要为难你，这是直接由上头交代下来的。

　　疯狂联想：这“最高层”可以是父母，可以是老师，更可以是你的老板。当你想以大压小，假传圣旨的时候；当你想狐假虎威，以势压人的时候，都可用这句话来当挡箭牌。
 

　　2. Fry one's butt 整人，收拾某人

　　I'm the guy who calls the shots here; if you don't listen, I'm gonna fry your butt.

　　这里我说了算；如果你不听，小心我收拾你！

　　释义：

　　fry: 烧，烤

　　butt: 屁股

　　fry one's butt: 拿起火把去烧某人的屁股，这招够毒吧。引申为收拾某人，整人。
