美国街头常用英语俚语（64）：Eagle shit/Early bir

　　1. Eagle shit 蝇头小利，很少的甜头

　　I'm fed up with my job now - I have to work shifts but my satary is eagle shit.

　　我简直受够我现在的工作了——三班倒而且工钱少得可怜。

　　释义：

　　eagle: 苍鹰；shit: 粪便，屎

　　eagle shit: 给的钱少得像老鹰拉的屎。美国内税局每年给纳税人退税，金额少得可怜，加之退税单上有一只老鹰像，由此而来。
 

　　2. Early bird 勤奋的人，捷足先登者

　　Tom's a real early bird - he's always the first person at the office in the morning.

　　汤姆真勤奋，每天早晨第一个上班。
