　　释义：

　　pond 池塘

　　a small fish in a big pond: 直译为大池塘里的一条小鱼，比喻无足轻重的人。

　　2. A stuffed shirt 爱摆架子，神气十足的人

　　John is a stuffed shirt. All he talks about is how important he is to our company.

　　stuffed: 塞得满满的，吃得过饱
