英语新闻词汇：“空气末日”用英文怎么说？

　　供暖季开始以来，我国东北部迎来持续的严重污染天气。不少网友戏称，“空气末日”又来了。

　　“空气末日”又来了。未来5天，严重雾霾天将持续笼罩中国东北主要城市。从上周五开始，东北地区的空气污染指数已经爆表。

　　Airpocalypse一词由air（空气）和apocalypse（世界末日）构成，意思是空气污染很严重，像世界末日来临了一样。

　　上周日，沈阳的PM2.5浓度（the concentration of PM2.5）达到了1107微克/立方米（micrograms per cubic mete）。

　　而国家安全标准（national safety level）的PM2.5值是75微克/立方米。

　　为了应对严重污染的空气，不少家庭开始使用air purifier（空气净化器），出门时也会选择佩戴air filtration face masks（空气过滤口罩）。各地政府也采取措施限制公车（government vehicles）上路。
