日前，国务院办公厅发文公布了21处新建国家级自然保护区名单，其中包括海南鹦哥岭和内蒙古毕拉河。

China has set up 21 new state-level nature reserves, increasing the country's total conservation area to nearly ten percent of the country's land territory.
国家新建立了21个国家级自然保护区，将保护区总面积增加到了国土面积的近10%。
“国家级自然保护区”的英文表达是state-level nature reserves，这次新增的国家级自然保护区分布在多个省份和autonomous regions（自治区），包括辽宁、福建、河南、内蒙古等。
这些自然保护区保护了包括Manchurian tiger（东北虎）、giant panda（大熊猫）和golden monkey（金丝猴）在内的35种state-level endangered animal species（国家一级重点保护动物），以及12 种rare wild plants（珍稀野生植物）。
